McCreary Central  vs.  North Laurel (Girls)

McCreary Central opened the season with an impressive 64-48 victory on the road at North Laurel.  McCreary Central got off to a fast start leading 20-10 after the first quarter but encountered foul woes in the second quarter and North Laurel rallied and the score was deadlocked 26-26 at halftime.  McCreary Central regained control of the game in the third quarter and pulled away for the victory.  All of McCreary Central’s starters hit double figures tonight led by 5-7 Fr. Kaylee Cotton with 17 points and 10 rebounds.  5-8 Sr. Candace Foster and 5-9 Sr. Brittany King each scored 13 points.  5-6 Sr. Kisha Gibson and 5-4 So. PG Cierra Terry each tallied 10 points.
