Paul L. Dunbar coach Scott Chalk started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. E.J. Floreal, 6-3 Fr. Darius Williams, 6-7 Sr. Taylor King, 6-3 Sr. Jamal Adu Peasah, and 6-0 Jr. Donnie Lewis.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-9 Jr. Jackson Davis, 6-8 Sr. Nick Trisko, 6-6 So. Shon Wright, 6-2 Jr. Lance Blakely, and 6-4 Sr. Aaron Evans.

Paul L. Dunbar scored 26 points off 19 Lafayette turnovers to offset Lafayette’s size advantage in a 68-54 road victory.  Dunbar shot 47.1% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on 14 of 24 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and held a 46-17 advantage in bench scoring.  Lafayette shot 40.7% from the field including one of eight from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Dunbar turnovers.

5-10 Sr. Mike Smith led Dunbar with 20 points, four assists, and seven steals.  6-2 Sr. William Gary added 14 points.  6-5 Sr. Eric Trigg chipped in with 12 points.  Jamal Adu Peasah also reached double figures with 10 points.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 16 points and 10 rebounds.  6-3 Sr. Tranard Chester added 11 points.  Nick Trisko recorded eight points and nine rebounds.
