Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-6 Jr. Trey Grundy, 6-2 So. Jeremiah Tisdale, 6-4 Sr. Gerrard Newby, 6-0 Jr. Teddy Ware, and 6-1 Jr. Christen Cunningham.  Bryan Station coach Mike Allen countered with 6-3 Sr. Larry Morton, 6-1 Jr. Daquice Allen, 6-3 Sr. Tyler Smith, 6-0 Jr. Jordan Henry, and 6-1 Jr. Marcellous Washington.

Henry Clay outscored Bryan Station 16-2 in the second quarter and made big plays down the stretch to eke out a 52-48 victory over Bryan Station.  Henry Clay shot 35.8% from the field including one of seven from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 13 of 27 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 16 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 35.3% from the field including six of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on six of 13 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 15 Henry Clay turnovers.

Trey Grundy led Henry Clay with 15 points, 14 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Chisten Cunningham added 12 points.  Gerrard Newby recorded 10 points and eight rebounds.

Marcellous Washington led Bryan Station with 14 points including four three point baskets.  Tyler Smith and Larry Morton each recorded 11 points and nine rebounds.
