Western Hills coach Steve Wooldridge started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Will Davis, 6-0 Sr. Kevin Booth, 6-2 Jr. Diesel Reed, 5-11 Sr. Robby Fox, and 5-10 Sr. Justin Frost. Woodford County coach Scott Hundley countered with 6-5 Sr. Landen Young, 5-7 Sr. George Cole, 6-5 Sr. Chase Henderlight, 5-11 Jr. Chris Honabach, and 5-11 Jr. Eli Boggess.
Woodford County scored 36 points off 19 Western Hills turnovers in a 74-32 victory. Woodford County shot 54.9% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line. The Yellow Jackets connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and held a 30-14 advantage in bench scoring. Western Hills shot 20% from the field including two of 18 from beyond the arc. The Wolverines connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored five points off eight Woodford County turnovers.
Eli Boggess and Chris Honabach led a balanced Woodford County scoring attack with 11 points each. Chase Henderlight and Landen Young added nine and eight points respectively.
Kevin Booth led Western Hills with eight points. Will Davis added six points and seven rebounds.
