Sayre coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Henry Wolf, 6-1 Jr. Martin Durmov, 6-3 So. Quinn Pergande, 5-9 Sr. Ben Davis, and 6-0 Jr. Justin Sanders.  Paris coach Geoff Cody countered with 5-10 So. Aaron Williams, 5-10 Fr. Jawane Dumphord, 6-1 Fr. Kobe Garrard, 5-6 Fr. James Clark, and 5-9 Fr. Jawan Dumphord.

Sayre outscored Paris 24-9 in the second quarter on their way to a 62-45 victory.  Sayre shot 42.9% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and scored eight points off 10 Paris turnovers.  Paris shot 27% from the field including eight of 29 from beyond the arc.  The Greyhounds connected on 24 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 23 Sayre turnovers.

Justin Sanders led Sayre with 24 points including three three point baskets and pulled down 15 rebounds.  Quinn Pergande added 12 points and nine rebounds.  Martin Durmov recorded 11 points and 10 rebounds.

James Clark led Paris with 15 points including three three point baskets.  Jawan Dumphord added six points, six rebounds, and four steals.  Kobe Garrard and 5-6 So. Jamaal Washington also scored six points each.
