St. Ursula (OH)  vs.  Sacred Heart Academy (Girls)

St. Ursula (OH) started the following lineup: Emma Noe, Priya Mullen, Kaitlyn Ellenhorst, Elizabeth Ayers, and Sarah Wildermuth.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-7 Sr. Kristin Matula, 5-6 Jr. Raven Merriweather, 5-9 Jr. Dai Jia Ruffin, 5-4 So. Ashley Johnson, and 5-3 So. Gretchen Samsel.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated St. Ursula (OH) by a score of 75-53.  They led 48-41 after three quarters but outscored their opponent 27-12 in the final quarter. Sacred Heart shot 58.3% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 14 of 28 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 23 St. Ursula turnovers.  St. Ursula shot 37.2% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 19 of 24 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored seven points off 18 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Dai Jia Ruffin led Sacred Heart Academy with 17 points and six rebounds.  Raven Merriweather added 13 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  Kristin Matula recorded 12 points, seven assists, and four steals.

Sarah Wildermuth led St. Ursula with 17 points, six rebounds, and four steals.  Kaitlyn Ellerhorst added seven points.
