Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-9 Jr. Jackson Davis, 6-8 Sr. Nick Trisko, 6-6 So. Shon Wright, 6-2 Jr. Lance Blakely, and 6-4 Sr. Aaron Evans.  Tates Creek coach Wayne Breeden countered with 6-4 Sr. Braxton McFarland, 6-4 Jr. Evan Davis, 6-5 So. Jordan Fucci, 5-11 So. Desmond Duke, and 6-1 Sr. Vincent Mattox.

Lafayette defeated Tates Creek by a score of 59-45.  Lafayette shot 49% from the field including two of 13 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on nine of 21 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 20 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 35% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on 14 of 24 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 22 points, 15 rebounds, four blocked shots, and three steals.  Nick Trisko added 17 points.  Tranard Chester chipped in with 11 points.

Jordan Fucci led Tates Creek with 10 points and nine rebounds.  Braxton McFarland and Vincent Mattox also scored 10 points each.  Desmond Duke and 6-6 Fr. Khiry Shelton chipped in with eight and seven points respectively.
