Boone County coach Nell Fookes started the following lineup: 5-6 Jr. Dallis Knotts, 5-7 So. Alexis Switzer, 5-11 Sr. Lauren McQueary, 5-6 Sr. Jessica Jones, and 5-6 So. Macey Ford.  Lexington Catholic coach Scott True countered with 5-8 Sr. Octavia Wilson, 5-8 So. Rachel Blake, 5-8 So. Caroline Lynch, 5-4 Sr. Sara Cawood, and 5-4 So. Bailey Browning.

Lexington Catholic probably played their best game of the season with a 61-44 victory over Boone County.  Lexington Catholic shot 47.6% from the field including four of 13 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 17 of 19 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 Boone County turnovers.  Boone County shot 30.8% from the field including eight of 26 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Rebels connected on four of six free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 16 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Octavia Wilson led Lexington Catholic with 24 points including two three point baskets, 10 rebounds, four blocked shots, and four steals.  Bailey Browning and Rachel Blake added nine and seven points respectively.  Caroline Lynch recorded six points and six rebounds.

Alexis Switzer led Boone County with 14 points including two three point baskets.  Macey Ford added 11 points including three three point baskets.  Jessica Jones chipped in with eight points and six rebounds.
