Bryan Station  vs.  Scott County (Girls)

Bryan Station coach Donna Murphy started the following lineup: 5-11 Fr. Bairesha Gill, 5-9 Jr. Lakyesha Stennis, 6-1 Sr. Hallie Crumbie, 5-8 Sr. DeShante Clay, and 5-8 Sr. Serena Sandusky.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-7 Jr. Danielle DeFoor, 5-7 Sr. Laura Szorenyi, 6-0 Jr. Tereka Guyn, 8th grader Lauren Boehm, and 5-6 Jr. Audriana Christopher.

Scott County pulled away in the second half to defeat Bryan Station by the score of 69-50.  Scott  County shot 46.3% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 16 of 20 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 30.4% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Defenders connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 19 Scott County turnovers.

Laura Szorenyi led Scott County with 23 points and seven rebounds.  Audriana Christopher added 19 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and seven steals.  Tereka Guyn chipped in with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Serena Sandusky led Bryan Station with 13 points.  Bairesha Gill added 12 points and eight rebounds.  DeShante Clay recorded seven points and eight rebounds.
