Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. E.J. Floreal, 6-3 Sr. Jamal Adu-Peasah, 6-5 Sr. Eric Trigg, 5-10 Sr. Mike Smith, and 6-2 Sr. William Gary.  Bryan Station coach Mike Allen countered with 6-3 Sr. Larry Morton, 6-2 Sr. Kenyon Hipps, 6-3 Sr. Tyler Smith, 6-0 Jr. Jordan Henry, and 6-1 Jr. Marcellous Washington.

Paul Laurence Dunbar captured a 56-49 decision over Bryan Station in a hotly contested game which was tied four times with 10 lead changes.  Dunbar shot 57.1% from the field including two of five from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on six of 15 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 10 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 40% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on five of 15 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds and scored 24 points off 16 Dunbar turnovers.

William Gary led a balanced Dunbar attack with 11 points.  Eric Trigg added 10 points and eight rebounds.  Mike Smith recorded 10 points, four rebounds, and four assists.  E.J. Floreal also scored 10 points.

Larry Morton led Bryan Station with 14 points including two three point baskets.  Tyler Smith added eight points and nine rebounds.  Jordan Henry recorded eight points and four assists.  Kenyon Hipps chipped in with eight points and five rebounds.
