McCreary Central opened district play tonight with a 60-50 victory over Wayne County.  McCreary Central only led 23-20 at halftime but took control in the third quarter as they outscored Wayne County 18-11.  5-7 Fr. Kaylee Cotton continues her torrid scoring leading the victors with 24 points and 10 rebounds.  5-8 Sr. Candance Foster added 10 points and eight rebounds.  5-3 So. Cierra Terry chipped in with nine points.

5-7 Jr. Jamie Roberts led Wayne County with 19 points.  5-9 Sr. Jessica Hardin added 13 points.
