Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Quan Taylor, 6-1 Sr. Daniel Parke, 6-3 Sr. Hunter Stocker, 6-1 Sr. Ken-Jah Bosley, and 6-1 Sr. Dominique Hawkins. Montgomery County coach Happy Osborne countered with 6-5 Sr. Omar Prewitt, 6-2 Jr. Darius Jones, 6-3 So. Chase Hall, 6-0 Jr. Bryan Wallace, and 6-0 Sr. Tyler Jones.
Madison Central raced out to a 26-10 first quarter lead on their way to a 78-61 victory over Montgomery County. Madison Central shot 39.4% from the field including two of 14 from the three point line. The Indians connected on 24 of 36 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 20 Montgomery County turnovers. Montgomery County shot 46.2% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc. The Indians connected on 10 of 24 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Madison Central turnovers.
Ken-Jah Bosley led Madison Central with 25 points, six rebounds, and five steals. Dominique Hawkins added 24 points, 11 rebounds, and four steals. Hunter Stocker pulled down 10 rebounds.
Omar Prewitt led Montgomery County with 25 points including three three point baskets and 10 rebounds. Bryan Wallace added 14 points and Darius Jones chipped in with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
