Tates Creek coach Tina Winn started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Katie Pippen, 5-8 Sr. Dominique Etling-Turner, 5-11 So. Kendra Evans, 5-5 Sr. Lexi Whaley, and 5-6 Sr. Oney Harrison.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-8 Sr. Laura Szorenyi, 5-7 Jr. Danielle DeFoor, 6-0 Jr. Tereka Guyn, 5-7 8th grader Lauren Boehm, and 5-6 Jr. Audriana Christopher.

Scott County defeated Tates Creek 89-77 in a high scoring affair tonight.  The score was tied seven ties with 14 lead changes.  Scott County shot 43.5% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 31 of 43 free throws, pulled down 53 rebounds, and scored 11 points off seven Tates Creek turnovers. Scott County held a 37-4 advantage in bench scoring. Tates Creek shot 39% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Commodores connected on 15 of 24 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 18 Scott County turnovers.

5-6 Jr. Rachel Young led Scott County with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists.  Young was seven of nine from the field including zero of one from beyond the arc and 12 of 15 from the free throw line.  Danielle DeFoor added 21 points including three three point baskets.  Tereka Guyn recorded 20 points, 19 rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Oney Harrison led Tates Creek with 28 points including two three point baskets and three steals.  Harrison was nine of 15 from the field including two of four from the three point line and eight of 11 free throws.  Katie Pippen added 22 points, nine rebounds, and three steals.  Dominique Etling-Turner recorded 17 points.
