Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Tony Martini, 6-2 Sr. Jalen Haddix, 6-9 Sr. Jordan Tribble, 6-0 Sr. Quin Richardson, and 6-2 Jr. Trent Gilbert.  Woodford County coach Scott Hundley countered with 6-5 Sr. Landen Young, 5-11 Jr. Chris Honabach, 6-5 Sr. Chase Henderlight, 5-7 Sr. George Cole, and 5-10 Sr. Kyle Howell.

Scott County raced out to a 22-12 first quarter lead on their way to an 80-66 victory over Woodford County.  Scott County held a 20-9 advantage in second chance points.  Scott County shot 45.2% from the field including eight of 15 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 16 of 26 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 11 Woodford County turnovers.  Woodford County shot 36% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Yellow Jackets connected on 25 of 29 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 12 points off nine Scott County turnovers.

Trent Gilbert led Woodford County with 20 points including four three point baskets and seven rebounds.  6-2 Sr. Tyler Page added 14 points.  Quin Richardson and Jalen Haddix chipped in with 12 and 10 points respectively.  Tony Martini pulled down 10 rebounds.

5-11 Jr. Eli Boggess led Woodford County with 26 points including three three point baskets.  Landen Young added 10 points and seven rebounds.  Chase Henderlight chipped in with 10 points.
