Bryan Station coach Mike Allen started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Larry Morton, 6-1 Jr. Daquice Allen, 6-3 Sr. Tyler Smith, 6-0 Jr. Jordan Henry, and 6-1 Jr. Marcellous Washington.  Bardstown coach James Brewer countered with 6-4 Sr. Matt Bond, 6-3 Sr. Andrew Gordon, 6-6 Sr. Devonte Grundy, 5-6 So. Keanu Young, and 5-9 So. L.J. Cowherd.

Bryan Station trailed 31-25 at halftime but outscored Bardstown 21-3 in the third quarter to take control on their way to a 70-46 victory.  Bardstown only shot 17.4% from the field in the second half connecting on only four of 23 from the field.  Bryan Station shot 44.8% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line.  The Defenders connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 Bardstown turnovers.  Bardstown shot 28% from the field including seven of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Tigers connected on 11 of 19 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored six points off 11 Bryan Station turnovers.

Larry Morton led Bryan Station with 19 points and six rebounds.  6-2 Sr. Kenyon Hipps added 17 points and Marcellous Washington chipped in with 11 points.  Tyler Smith recorded 10 points and nine rebounds.

Devonte Grundy led Bardstown with 13 points and six rebounds.  L.J. Cowherd added 13 points including two three point baskets.
