Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-6 Jr. Trey Grundy, 6-4 Jr. Jordan Green, 6-4 Sr. Gerrard Newby, 6-0 Jr. Teddy Ware, and 6-1 Jr. Christen Cunningham.  Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-3 Jr. Tony Martini, 6-2 Sr. Jalen Haddix, 6-9 Sr. Jordan Tribble, 6-0 Sr. Quin Richardson, and 6-2 Jr. Trent Gilbert.

Henry Clay took control of the game early and never trailed in a 77-67 victory over Scott County.  Henry Clay shot 50% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 19 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 35.7% from the field including eight of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on 19 of 25 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 21 Henry Clay turnovers.

Christen Cunningham led Henry Clay with 27 points and five assists.  Jordan Green added 23 points and 13 rebounds.  Trey Grundy chipped in with 12 points and seven rebounds.

Quin Richardson led Scott County with 23 points including 11 of 12 free throws.  Trent Gilbert added 21 points including five three point baskets.  Jordan Tribble blocked seven shots.
