Somerset coach Jeff Cothron started the following lineup; 6-3 Jr. Ryan Dishman, 5-10 Jr. Cam Cheuvront, 6-5 Sr. Tyson Williams, 5-9 Jr. Brayden McWilliams, and 5-10 Sr. Matt Gordon.  West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-3 Jr. Tanner Richards, 6-2 Sr. Robby Irgang, 6-4 Sr. Chase Fain, 6-0 Jr. Will Henderson, and 6-3 Jr. Daulton Peters.

West Jessamine defeated Somerset by a score of 81-55.  West Jessamine shot 52.3% from the field including eight of 18 from the three point line.  The Colts connected on five of 13 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine Somerset turnovers.  Somerset shot 37.5% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Briar Jumpers connected on three of 11 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored eight points off eight West Jessamine turnovers.

Chase Fain led West Jessamine with 31 points including five three point baskets, 13 rebounds, and four assists.  Robby Irgang added 14 points.  Will Henderson recorded 11 points and 13 assists.  Daulton Peters chipped in with 10 points.

Matt Gordon led Somerset with 19 points.  Ryan Dishman added 12 points and Tyson Williams recorded 11 points and nine rebounds.
