Muhlenberg County coach Mike Harper started the following lineup: 5-9 Fr. Torrie Pollard, 5-7 Sr. Amiera Summers, 5-9 Jr. Caitlin Peterson, 5-6 Fr. Makayla Samson, and 5-7 Sr. Hope Marigay.  Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey countered with 6-2 Sr. Ashton Feldhaus, 5-9 Sr. Heather Hinkle, 6-2 Jr. Shadae Bosley, 5-5 Jr. Bailey O’Bryan, and 5-5 Sr. Larryn Brooks.

Madison Central defeated a cold shooting (14-57 from the field) Muhlenberg County team by a score of 59-47.  Madison Central shot 44.2% from the field including four of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Indians connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 11 Muhlenberg County turnovers.  Muhlenberg County shot 24.6% from the field including five of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Mustangs connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored seven points off 11 Madison Central turnovers.

Larryn Brooks led Madison Central with 18 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.  Shadae Bosley added 13 points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Ashton Feldhaus recorded 12 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Amiera Summers led Muhlenberg County with 11 points and eight rebounds.  Caitlin Peterson added 10 points including three three point baskets.  Makayla Samson also scored 10 points.
