Rockcastle County coach Chrysti Noble started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Kayla Reynolds, 5-7 Sr. Emily Miller, 5-10 Sr. Michaela Hunter, 5-7 Sr. Sara Adams, and 5-5 Sr. Alexis Chasteen.  Tates Creek coach Tina Winn countered with 5-9 Sr. Katie Pippen, 5-8 Sr. Dominique Etling-Turner, 5-11 So. Kendra Evans, 5-5 Sr. Lexi Whaley, and 5-6 Sr. Oney Harrison.

Rockcastle County shot a sizzling 61.3% from the field in the first half to take a 44-32 halftime lead on their way to n 80-55 victory over Tates Creek.  Rockcastle County shot 52.3% from the field including one of four from the three point line.  The Lady Rockets connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 30 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 38.6% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Commodores connected on seven of eight free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored five points off 12 Rockcastle County turnovers.

Michaela Hunter led Rockcastle County with 19 points, nine rebounds, and six assists.  Emily Miller and 5-9 So. Amelia Eversole added 18 and 11 points respectively.

Katie Pippen led Tates Creek with 16 points and six rebounds.  Oney Harrison and Dominique Etling-Turner added 15 and 12 points respectively.
