Mercer County coach Chris Souder started the following lineup: 5-4 Jr. Raegan Freeman, 5-4 So. Heidi Huffman, 5-6 Sr. Cassidy Martin, 5-5 Sr. Carli Souder, and 5-4 So. Catheryne Claunch.  Tates Creek coach Tina Winn countered with 5-8 Sr. Dominique Etling-Turner, 5-6 So. Haley Blackburn, 5-9 Sr. Katie Pippen, 5-5 Sr. Lexi Whaley, and 5-6 Sr. Oney Harrison.

Mercer County defeated Tates Creek by a score of 77-58.  Mercer County shot 42.7% from the field including six of 22 from the three point line.  The Titans connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 23 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 30.1% from the field including one of eight from beyond the arc.  The Lady Commodores connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 55 rebounds, and scored nine points off 17 Mercer County turnovers.

Cassidy Martin led Mercer county with 32 points and seven rebounds.  Heidi Huffman added 16 points including four three point baskets.  Raegan Freeman recorded 10 points and eight rebounds.

Katie Pippen led Tates Creek with 22 points and 14 rebounds.  Oney Harrison added 20 points including 10 of 12 free throws.  Lexi Whaley recorded seven points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
