Tates Creek coach Tina Winn started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Dominique Etling-Turner, 5-6 So. Haley Blackburn, 5-9 Sr. Katie Pippen, 5-5 Sr. Lexi Whaley, and 5-6 Sr. Oney Harrison.  Woodford County coach Jay Lucas countered with 6-0 Sr. Hannah Morgan, 5-9 Fr. Caitlin Ferguson, 5-9 So. Chelsey Ford, 5-5 Jr. Shelby McDonald, and 5-5 So. Anastayzia Reed.

Dominique Etling-Turner hit a short jump shot in the closing seconds to give Tates Creek a 57-55 victory over Woodford County.  Tates Creek shot 36.1% from the field including five of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Commodores connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored six points off 11 Woodford County turnovers.  Woodford County shot 31.7% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Yellow Jackets connected on 12 of 24 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 Tates Creek turnovers.

Katie Pippen led Tates Creek with 22 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  Dominique Etling-Turner and Oney Harrison added 12 and 11 points respectively.  Lexi Whaley pulled down seven rebounds and dished out five assists.  5-11 So. Kendra Evans chipped in with six points and 10 rebounds.

Chelsey Ford led Woodford County with 20 points and nine rebounds.  Shelby McDonald added 13 points.  6-1 Sr. Jessica Morgan recorded eight points and 11 rebounds.  Hannah Morgan pulled down eight rebounds.
