Lexington Catholic  vs.  Scott County (Girls)

Lexington Catholic coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Rachel Blake, 5-6 So. Torrie Pippen, 5-9 So. Caroline Lynch, 5-4 So. Bailey Browning, and 5-4 Sr. Sara Cawood.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-8 Sr. Laura Szorenyi, 5-7 8th grade Lauren Boehm, 6-0 Jr. Tereka Guyn, 5-6 Jr. Rachel Young, and 5-7 Jr. Danielle DeFoor.

Scott County defeated Lexington Catholic by a score of 75-70.  Scott County shot 41.9% from the field including seven of 22 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 16 of 30 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 35 points off 22 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 47.2% from the field including six of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 10 points off nine Scott County turnovers.

Tereka Guyn led Scott County with 24 points, 11 rebounds, four blocked shots, and four steals.  Danielle DeFoor added 12 points including three three point baskets.  5-7 8th grade Lauren Boehm chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds.  5-8 Fr. Bailey Hawkins recorded nine points on three three point baskets.

5-5 Jr. Suzanne Miller led Lexington Catholic with 22 points.  Rachel Blake added 13 points.  Caroline Lynch chipped in with 11 points and nine rebounds.  Sara Cawood recorded 10 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.  Bailey Browning dished out nine assists.
