Tates Creek coach Wayne Breeden started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Evan Davis, 6-2 Jr. Ian Davis, 6-5 So. Jordan Fucci, 5-110 So. Desmond Duke, and 6-1Sr. Vincent Maddox.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-8 Sr. Nick Trisko, 6-4 Sr. Aaron Evans, 6-9 Jr. Jackson Davis, 6-2 Jr. Lance Blakely, and 6-3 Sr. Tranard Chester.

Lafayette defeated Tates Creek by a score of 73-52.  Lafayette shot 46.4% from the field including zero of 12 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on nine of 20 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 31 points off 25 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 30.4% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 21 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, and four blocked shots.  Tranard Chester added 16 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  6-6 Sr. Charles Sweat-Washington chipped in with 10 points and five rebounds.

Vincent Mattox led Tates Creek with 16 points.  Evan Davis added 12 points.  Jordan Fucci recorded six points and 15 rebounds.
