Lexington Christian Academy coach Brad Carter started the following lineup: 6-5 So. Matt Rose, 6-2 Sr. Taylor Blair, 6-4 Sr. Jon Lannertone, 5-9 So. Drew Schacht, and 5-10 Sr. Tyler Harville.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 So. Tanner Johnson, 6-3 So. Reese Ryan, 6-5 Sr. Tom Banahan, 5-11 Sr. Dillon Avare, and 6-2 So. Jarod Griffin.

Lexington Catholic shot “lights out” from the three point line connecting on 11 of 15 shots in a 74-44 rout of Lexington Christian Academy.  Lexington Catholic shot 60.5% from the field including 11 of 15 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 17 of 22 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 14 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 35.3% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored 14 points off nine Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Dillon Avare led Lexington Catholic with 12 points on four three point baskets.  Tanner Johnson also scored 12 points.  Jarod Griffin and Reese Ryan each recorded 11 points.  Tom Banahan scored eight points and pulled down 10 rebounds.

6-1 So. Brad Calipari led LCA with 12 points on four three point baskets.  Calipari was four of four from the field in only 7:15 minutes of playing time.  6-4 So. Drew Trimble added seven points.
