Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford started the following lineup: 5-9 So. Kerrigan Davis, 5-6 So. Jazmine Richmond, 5-9 Jr. Areanna Porter, 5-6 So. Destiny Carter, and 5-6 Fr. T’laya Lyvers.  Tates Creek coach Tina Winn countered with 5-6 So. Haley Blackburn, 5-8 Sr. Dominique Etling-Turner, 5-9 Sr. Katie Pippen 5-5 Sr. Lexi Whaley, and 5-6 Sr. Oney Harrison.

Henry Clay outscored Tates Creek 15-9 in the third quarter on their way to a 56-46 victory.  Henry Clay shot 36.8% from the field including one of eight from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 13 of 27 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 23.6% from the field including three of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Commodores connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored four points off 18 Henry Clay turnovers.

Destiny Carter led Henry Clay with 16 points.  T’laya Lyvers added 11 points and four steals.  Areanna Porter recorded 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Katie Pippen led Tates Creek with 14 points and six rebounds.  Oney Harrison added 13 points and three steals.  Dominique Etling-Turner chipped in with eight points.  Lexi Whaley recorded five points, four rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
