West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Tanner Richards, 6-2 Sr. Robby Irgang, 6-4 Sr. Chase Fain, 6-0 Jr. Will Henderson, and 6-3 Jr. Daulton Peters. Windermere Prep coach Ben Wilson countered with 6-2 So. Michael Stone, 6-0 Sr. Xavier Burrow, 6-5 Sr. Antonio Nunez, 5-10 So. Matt Hein, and 6-0 Sr. Barry Babbit.
Windermere Prep outscored West Jessamine 19-13 in the final quarter to earn a 62-57 victory. Windermere Prep shot 42.6% from the field including six of 24 from the three point line. The Lakers connected on 10 of 19 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 21 West Jessamine turnovers. West Jessamine shot 40.4% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc. The Colts connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 14 points off Windermere Prep turnovers.
Antonio Nunez led a balanced Windermere Prep scoring attack with 12 points on six of six from the field. Barry Babbit added 10 points and five steals. 6-6 Sr. Brian Bennett also scored 10 points. Michael Stone recorded eight points, six rebounds, and five assists.
Chase Fain led West Jessamine with 17 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Daulton Peters added 15 points and 10 rebounds. Robby Irgang recorded 14 points, seven rebounds, and three steals.
