Mercy Academy coach Mark Evans started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Morgan Doherty, 5-10 So. Sarah Parr, 6-0 So. Malerie Martin, 5-7 Sr. Kayla Richardson, and 5-8 Sr. Whitney Hartlage.  DuPont Manual Stacy Pendleton countered with 6-1 Sr. Kayla Styles, 5-7 Sr. Katie Long, 6-1 Jr. Tabitha Mitchell, 5-3 Jr. Erika Hawkins, and 5-7 Sr. Destony Curry.

Mercy Academy defeated DuPont Manual by a score of 54-46.  Mercy shot 32.5% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 20 of 30 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored zero points off 13 Manual turnovers.  Manual shot 27.8% from the field including five of 29 from beyond the arc.  The Crimsons connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored four points off 18 Mercy turnovers.

Whitney Hartlage led Mercy with 26 points including five three point baskets, nine of 12 free throws, and 10 rebounds.  Malerie Martin added eight points and seven rebounds.

Kayla Styles led Manual with 10 points, 14 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  5-9 So. Aricka Prentice also scored 10 points including two three point baskets.  Destony Curry chipped in with nine points.
