Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Kristin Matula, 5-5 Jr. Vanessa Baisas, 5-9 Jr. Dai Jia Ruffin, 5-3 So. Ashley Johnson, and 5-3 So. Gretchen Samsel.  Christian Academy of Louisville coach Don Rice countered with 5-11 Sr. China Dow, 5-8 Sr. Chalisa Helm, 6-0 Jr. McKenzie Campbell, 5-7 Sr. Kate Joss, and 5-7 So. Brittany Mumford.

Christian Academy of Louisville got off to a 16-5 lead and Sacred Heart Academy could never catch up in a 59-50 CAL victory.  CAL shot 46.8% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Centurions connected on 12 of 14 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 17 Sacred Heart turnovers.  Sacred Heart shot 39.6% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Valkyries connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 17 CAL turnovers.

China Dow led CAL with 33 points, 15 rebounds, and four assists.  Dow was 12 of 21 from the field including one of two from beyond the arc, and eight of eight free throws.  McKenzie Campbell and Brittany Mumford added eight points each.

Dai Jia Ruffin led Sacred Heart with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals.  Gretchen Samsel added 13 points including two three point baskets.
