Lexington Christian Academy coach Brad Carter started the following lineup: 6-5 So. Matt Rose, 6-2 Sr. Taylor Blair, 6-3 So. Benton Nighbert, 5-9 So. Drew Schacht, and 5-10 Sr. Tyler Harville. Sayre coach Ted Hall countered with 6-3 So. Quinn Pergande, 6-0 Jr. Justin Sanders, 6-6 Sr. Ray Brewer, 5-11 Sr. Duncan Courtney, and 5-9 Sr. Ben Davis.
Lexington Christian Academy scored 37 points off 23 Sayre turnovers in a 77-44 victory. Lexington Christian Academy shot 47.1% from the field including 13 of 27 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on 16 of 25 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and held a 34-7 advantage in bench scoring. Sayre shot 33.3% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc. The Spartans connected on 14 of 25 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored five points off 10 LCA turnovers.
Taylor Blair led LCA with 13 points including three three point baskets. Drew Schacht and Tyler Harville each scored 10 points.
Ray Brewer led Sayre with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Brewer was four of five from the field and eight of 10 from the free throw line. Quinn Pergande added six points and six rebounds. Justin Sanders recorded six points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Ben Davis also recorded six points on two three point baskets.
