Tates Creek coach Wayne Breeden started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Ian Davis, 6-1 Sr. Vincent Mattox, 6-6 Fr. Khiry Shelton, 5-11 So. Desmond Duke, and 5-11 Sr. Landon Love.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-6 Jr. Trey Grundy, 6-4 Jr. Jordan Green, 6-4 Sr. Gerrard Newby, 6-0 Jr. Teddy Ware, and 6-1 Jr. Christen Cunningham.

Henry Clay led 24-7 after the first quarter on their way to a 72-46 victory over Tates Creek.  Henry Clay shot 51.9% from the field including nine of 22 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 17 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 37.8% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on 10 of 10 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored five points off seven Henry Clay turnovers.

Teddy Ware led Henry Clay with 18 points including five three point baskets.  Christen Cunningham added 13 points and six assists.  Jordan Green chipped in with 10 points.  5-10 Jr. Campbell Setzer recorded nine points on three three point baskets.

Vincent Mattox led Tates Creek with 18 points and six rebounds.  6-4 Sr. Braxton McFarland added six points and five rebounds.  Desmond Duke, Landon Love, and Khiry Shelton also scored six points each.
