Conner coach James Hicks started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Brady Padgett, 6-2 Jr. Drew Barker, 6-4 Jr. Samuel Hemmerich, 5-10 Sr. Sam Riddle, and 6-0 Jr. Andrew Way. Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus countered with 6-4 Sr. Quan Taylor, 6-1 Sr. Daniel Parke, 6-3 Sr. Hunter Stocker, 6-1 Sr. Ken-Jah Bosley, and 6-1 Sr. Dominique Hawkins.
Madison Central scored 33 points off 27 Conner turnovers in a 66-51 victory. Madison Central shot 40.3% from the field including eight of 20 from the three point line. The Indians connected on eight of 19 free throws and pulled down 37 rebounds. Conner shot 38.3% from the field including three of eight from beyond the arc. The Cougars connected on 12 of 23 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored nine points off 12 Madison Central turnovers.
Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central with 14 points, six rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Quan Taylor added 12 points, eight rebounds, and seven blocked shots. Daniel Parke also scored 12 points including two three point baskets. Ken-Jah Bosley chipped in with 10 points, four assists, and three steals. Hunter Stocker recorded eight points, 10 rebounds, and three assists.
Samuel Hemmerich led Conner with 18 points including two three point baskets. Drew Barker added eight points, 10 rebounds, and four assists. 6-0 Jr. Landon Lamblez chipped in with eight points and five rebounds. Brady Padgett recorded seven points and eight rebounds.
