Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup:  6-0 Jr. Tereka Guyn, 5-8 Fr. Bailey Hawkins, 6-0 Jr. Iman Guy, 5-7 8th grade Lauren Boehm, and 5-8 Sr. Laura Szorenyi.  Marion County coach Trent Milby countered with 6-0 Sr. Kyvin Goodin-Rogers, 5-11 Sr. Logan Powell, 6-1 Jr. Alexus Calhoun, 5-9 Sr. Patrice Tonge, and 5-11 Sr. Makayla Epps.

Marion County defeated an injury-depleted Scott County squad by a score of 87-51.  Marion County raced out to a 62-28 halftime lead and cruised to a big win behind a 41 point onslaught by Makayla Epps.  Marion County shot 43.1% from the field including eight of 28 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 17 of 27 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 24 Scott County turnovers.  Marion County attempted 24 more shots (72-48) from the field than Scott County.  Scott County shot 39.6% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored seven points off seven Marion County turnovers.

Makayla Epps led Marion County with 41 points including three three point baskets.  Patrice Tonge added 16 points, seven rebounds, and five steals.  Kyvin Goodin-Rogers chipped in with 15 points, nine rebounds, and five steals.  Logan Powell added 10 points, six rebounds, and five steals.

Tereka Guyn led Scott County with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Bailey Hawkins added 15 points on five three point baskets.  Laura Szorenyi chipped in with 13 points and five rebounds.
