Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup:  6-0 Jr. Sarah Cooley, 5-11 So. Dee Givens, 6-4 So. Ashanti Thomas, 5-6 Jr. Megumi Nagahiro, and 5-6 Jr. Ken’ yale Demus.  Bryan Station coach Donna Murphy countered with 5-9 Jr. Lakeysha Stennis, 5-10 Jr. Victoria McCoy, 6-1 Sr. Hallie Crumbie, 5-8 Sr. DeShante Clay, and 5-8 Sr. Serena Sandusky.

Bryan Station outscored Lafayette 18-6 in the second quarter on their way to a 53-46 victory.  Bryan Station shot 43.5% from the field including three of five from the three point line.  The Lady Defenders connected on 10 of 20 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 21 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 37.8% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on nine of nine free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 Bryan Station turnovers.

Serena Sandusky led Bryan Station with 20 points.  Lakeysha Stennis and DeShante Clay added 19 and 13 points respectively.

Dee Givens led Lafayette with 13 points and five rebounds.  Sarah Cooley added nine points, eight rebounds, and four steals.  Ashanti Thomas recorded eight points, eight rebounds, and five blocked shots.
