Bryan Station coach Mike Allen started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Larry Morton, 6-2 Jr. Daquice Allen, 6-3 Sr. Tyler Smith, 6-0 Jr. Jordan Henry, and 6-1 Jr. Marcellous Washington.  Richmond Model coach Wes Scarberry countered with 6-3 Jr. Zack Rice-Gordon, 5-11 Sr. Brendon Hill, 6-4 Sr. Jon Ballard, 5-8 Sr. Anthony Gerald, and 5-10 Sr. A.J. Hammons.

Bryan Station trailed 37-33 at halftime but rallied in the second half to defeat Model by a score of 73-68.  There were eight lead changes and two ties in the game.  Bryan Station shot 41.2% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line.  The Defenders connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 16 Model turnovers.  Bryan Station attempted 19 more shots (68-49) from the field than Model.  Model shot 55.1% from the field including five of nine from beyond the arc.  The Patriots connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine Bryan Station turnovers.

Jordan Henry led Bryan Station with 19 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and three steals.  Larry Morton added 18 points including three three point baskets and eight rebounds.  Tyler Smith recorded 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Jon Ballard led Model with 16 points and nine rebounds.  A. J. Hammons added 16 points including two three point baskets.  Brendon Hill chipped in with 13 points including three three point  baskets.  Anthony Gerald also scored 13 points.  Zack Rice-Gordon recorded seven points and 10 rebounds.
