Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Kerrigan Davis, 5-6 So. Jazmine Richmond, 5-9 Jr. Areanna Porter, 5-6 Fr. T’laya Lyvers, and 5-6 So. Destiny Carter.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 6-0 Jr. Tereka Guyn, 5-7 8th grade Lauren Boehm, 6-0 Jr. Iman Guy, 5-8 Fr. Bailey Hawkins, and 5-8 Sr. Laura Szorenyi.

The score was tied 42-42 after three quarters but Scott County rallied in the final quarter to take a 63-57 decision over Henry Clay and earn the number one seed in the 42nd district for post-season play.  The score was tied six times and there were 11 lead changes in this contest.  Henry Clay held a 33-22 lead late in the second quarter.  Scott County shot 39.6% from the field including seven of 25 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 14 of 22 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 31.1% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 Scott County.

Laura Szorenyi led Scott County with 24 points.  Bailey Hawkins added 12 points on four three point baskets.  Tereka Guyn recorded 11 points and nine rebounds.  5-7 Jr. Danielle DeFoor chipped in with 10 points.  Iman Guy pulled down 11 rebounds.

Kerrigan Davis led Henry Clay with 15 points and five rebounds.  Destiny Carter added 13 points, five rebounds, and three assists.  T’laya Lyvers chipped in with 11 points including seven of eight free throws.  Jazmine Richmond added nine points and Areanna Porter pulled down eight rebounds.
