Tates Creek coach Wayne Breeden started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Ian Davis, 6-1 Sr. Vincent Mattox, 6-5 So. Jordan Fucci, 5-11 So. Desmond Duke, and 5-11 Sr. Landon Love.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Brad Carter countered with 6-5 So. Matt Rose, 6-4 So. Benton Nighbert, 6-4 Sr. Jon Lannertone, 5-10 Sr. Tyler Harville, and 6-4 So. Drew Trimble.

5-9 So. Drew Schacht hit a three point basket in the closing seconds of the game to give Lexington Christian Academy a 55-54 victory over Tates Creek.  The score was tied eight times and there were seven lead changes in the game.  LCA shot 48.7% from the field including four of 15 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored nine points off 10 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 31.3% from the field including six of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 16 LCA turnovers.

Tyler Harville led LCA with 16 points and four assists.  5-9 So. Drew Schacht added nine points including the game winning shot.  Jon Lannertone and 6-5 Jr. Michael Young added eight points each.  Matt Rose pulled down seven rebounds.

Landon Love led Tates Creek with 15 points including 10 of 12 free throws.  Desmond Duke added 12 points and five rebounds.  Jordan Fucci recorded 10 points and 12 rebounds.
