Lexington Catholic coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Rachel Blake, 5-6 So. Tori Pippen, 5-9 So. Caroline Lynch, 5-4 So. Bailey Browning, and 5-4 Sr. Sarah Cawood.  Walton-Verona coach Mark Clinkenbeard countered with 5-9 Sr. Liz McAdams, 5-9 Sr. Molly Clinkenbeard, 6-0 Sr. Michele Judy, 5-4 Jr. Shelby Mullikin, and 5-7 Sr. Hannah Sullivan.

Walton-Verona defeated Lexington Catholic by a score of 49-45.  Walton-Verona shot 45.2% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line.  The Bearcats connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 15 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 22 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 48.6% from the field including 10 of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on one of one free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored seven points off nine Walton-Verona turnovers.

Molly Clinkenbeard led Walton-Verona with 13 points including three three point baskets.  5-11 Sr. Courtney Sandlin added 11 points and five rebounds.  Michele Judy chipped in with 10 points.  Hannah Sullivan recorded eight points including two three point baskets.

Rachel Blake led Lexington Catholic with 11 points and seven rebounds.  Tori Pippen added eight points and four rebounds.  Bailey Browning recorded eight points including two three point baskets and dished out six assists.
