West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Robby Irgang, 6-3 So. Rashawn Jackson, 6-2 Fr. Siah Holifield, 6-0 Jr. Will Henderson, and 6-3 Jr. Daulton Peters.  Wayne County coach Rodney Woods countered with 6-2 So. Peyton Woods, 6-1 Fr. Corey Stearns, 6-0 Sr. Dagan Shelton, 5-10 Jr. Jason Perkins, and 5-11 Fr. Trey Blevins.

Wayne County connected on 21 of 29 free throws and outscored West Jessamine 21-7 from the charity stripe in a 66-61 victory.  The score was tied three times and there were eight lead changes in this contest.  West Jessamine lost Robby Irgang and Chase Fain via the foul route.  Wayne County shot 38% from the field including seven of 20 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 21 of 29 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 19 West Jessamine turnovers.  West Jessamine shot 45.6% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc.  The Colts connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 12 Wayne County turnovers.

Peyton Woods led Wayne County with 20 points including three three point baskets and seven of eight free throws.  Corey Stearns added 17 points and nine rebounds.  Troy Blevins recorded 16 points, five assists, and three steals.

6-4 Sr. Chase Fain led West Jessamine with 16 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.  Daulton Peters added 13 points and eight rebounds.  Will Henderson recorded 11 points and nine assists.  Siah Holifield also scored 11 points.  Robby Irgang added eight points and eight rebounds.
