Eastern coach Josh Leslie started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Madison Raque, 5-11 Fr. Markeia Porter, 6-4 Sr. Alexcia Kimbro, 5-5 Sr. Taylor Bradley, and 5-4 Jr. Sydney Fone.  (Note: Jade Spaulding is out with a broken hand).  Ballard coach Frank Wright countered with 5-9 Jr. Kiana Richardson, 5-7 Jr. Drea Matchen, 6-4 Sr. Tearra Banks, 5-4 Jr. Brandi Ray, and 5-5 So. Alex Martin. (Note:  Javonna Layfield is out with an ACL injury).

Ballard defeated Eastern by a score of 69-59.  Ballard shot 41.1% from thee field including four of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Bruins connected on 19 of 35 free throws, pulled down 49 rebounds, and scored nine points off 14 Eastern turnovers.  Eastern shot 28.1% from the field including three of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on 20 of 32 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Ballard turnovers.

Tearra Banks led Ballard with 26 points and 20 rebounds.  Drea Matchen added 15 points including three three point baskets.  Alex Martin chipped in with seven points, five rebounds, and five assists.

Madison Raque led Eastern with 36 points including three three point baskets.  5-9 Jr. Sophie Dye added 10 points and 13 rebounds.  Alexcia Kimbro chipped in with eight points and five rebounds.  Taylor Bradley pulled down nine rebounds.
