Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Jalen Haddix, 6-1 Sr. Deonte Doss, 6-3 Jr. Dylan Portwood, 6-0 Sr. Quin Richardson, and 6-2 Jr. Trent Gilbert.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Brad Carter countered with 6-5 So. Matt Rose, 6-5 So. Benton Nighbert, 6-4 Jr. Michael Young, 5-10 So. Drew Schacht, and 5-10 Sr. Tyler Harville.

Scott County defeated Lexington Christian Academy by a score of 87-71.  Scott County shot 51.7% from the field including seven of 20 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 20 of 24 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 19 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 47.7% from the field including nine of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 20 of 26 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and score 17 points off 13 Scott County turnovers.

Quin Richardson led Scott county with 38 points including three three point baskets and 11 of 11 free throws.  Trent Gilbert added 21 points including four three point baskets.  Deonte Doss chipped in with 14 points and Jalen Haddix recorded seven points and eight rebounds.

Tyler Harville led LCA with 23 points including five three point baskets and six assists.  Matt Rose added 19 points and nine rebounds.  Benton Nighbert chipped in with 12 points on four three point baskets.
