Dunbar coach Scott Chalk countered with 6-5 Sr. Eric Trigg, 6-5 Sr. E.J. Floreal, 6-7 Sr. Taylor King, 5-10 Sr. Mike Smith, and 6-2 Sr. William Gary.
Dunbar captured a close 69-63 decision over West Jessamine. The score was tied six times and there were six lead changes in this contest. Dunbar shot 43.1% from the field including two of four from the three point line. The Bulldogs connected on 17 of 30 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 21 West Jessamine turnovers. Dunbar held a 19-7 advantage in second effort points. West Jessamine shot 48% from the field including three of nine from beyond the arc. The Colts connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 19 Dunbar turnovers.
E.J. Floreal led Dunbar with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Mike Smith added 17 points and six steals. Eric Trigg chipped in with seven points, seven rebounds, and four assists.
Chase Fain led West Jessamine with 24 points, four rebounds, and four assists. Robby Irgang added 18 points on nine of nine from the field. Daulton Peters chipped in with 12 points and eight rebounds. Will Henderson recorded nine points and eight assists.
