Kentucky Country Day coach Harry Hayes started the following lineup: 5-9 So. Leah Miller, 5-7 So. Hannah Lally, 5-10 Sr. Olivia Alford, 5-7 So. Kennedy Hayes, and 5-6 Fr. Daria Eisenbrei.  Sayre coach Scotty Sutton countered with 5-6 8th grade Sydney Strup, 5-7 Sr. Cammie Croney-Clark, 6-3 So. Gabby Bowie, 5-6 Jr. Hadyn White, and 5-8 Jr. Molly Manella.

Sayre outscored Kentucky Country Day 18-9 in the final quarter on their way to a 51-39 victory.  Sayre shot 40% from the field including four of seven from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on 11 of 23 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 KCD turnovers.  KCD shot 24.6% from the field including six of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Bearcats connected on three of six free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 21 Sayre turnovers.

Molly Manella led Sayre with 20 points including four three point baskets, 13 rebounds, and three steals.  Gabby Bowie added 15 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, and six blocked shots.

Hannah Lally led KCD with 17 points.  Kennedy Hayes added 14 points including four three point baskets.  Olivia Alford, Leah Miller, and Daria Eisenbrei each pulled down seven rebounds.
