Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Tereka Guyn, 5-8 Fr. Bailey Hawkins, 6-0 Jr. Iman Guy, 5-7 Jr. Danielle DeFoor, and 5-8 Sr. Laura Szorenyi.  Shelby County coach Mike Sowers countered with 5-10 So. MacKenzie Raizor, 5-6 Sr. Lynsey Nichols, 5-11 Fr. Justus Martin, 5-2 So. Katie Hudgens, and 5-6 Sr. Jamie Bradley.

Scott County led 38-34 after three quarters and outscored Shelby County 25-8 in the final quarter to earn a 63-42 victory.  The score was tied six times and there were seven lead changes.  Scott County shot 39.6% from the field including eight of 27 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 13 of 15 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 17 Shelby County turnovers.  Shelby County shot 27.5% from the field including one of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Rockets connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored six points off 11 Scott County turnovers.

Laura Szorenyi led Scott County with 19 points and 11 assists.  Danielle DeFoor added 17 points including three three point baskets.  Tereka Guyn chipped in with 14 points, five rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Bailey Hawkins recorded nine points on three three point baskets.  Iman Guy pulled down nine rebounds.

Justus Martin led Shelby County with 12 points and 11 rebounds.  MacKenzie Raizor added nine points and seven rebounds.
