Marion County coach Trent Milby started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Kyvin Goodin-Rogers, 5-11 Sr. Logan Powell, 6-1 Jr. Alexus Calhoun, 5-9 Sr. Patrice Tonge, and 5-11 Sr. Makayla Epps.  Mercy Academy coach Mark Evans countered with 5-10 Sr. Morgan Doherty, 5-8 So. Hannah Bewley, 6-0 So. Malerie Martin, 5-8 Fr. Erin Muthler, and 5-8 Sr. Whitney Hartlage.

Marion County defeated Mercy Academy by a score of 64-46.  Marion County shot 52% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on eight of 16 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 22 Mercy Academy turnovers.  Mercy Academy shot 29.5% from the field including four of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on 16 of 20 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 19 Marion County turnovers.

Patrice Tonge led Marion County with 22 points.  Kyvin Goodin-Rogers added 14 points, eight rebounds, and five steals.  Makayla Epps chipped in with 12 points and five steals.  Logan Powell pulled down nine rebounds.

Erin Muthler led Mercy Academy with 12 points.  Morgan Doherty added seven points and six rebounds.  Whitney Hartlage and Malerie Martin chipped in with six points each.
