Western Hills coach Steven Wooldridge started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. ZhaVaughn Reed, 6-1 Sr. Will Davis, 6-3 Jr. Andrew Zing, 5-10 Sr. Justin Frost, and 6-0 Sr. Kevin Booth.  Sayre coach Ted Hall countered with 6-3 So. Quinn Pergande, 6-1 Jr. Martin Durmov, 6-6 Sr. Ray Brewer, 5-11 Sr. Duncan Courtney, and 5-9 Sr. Ben Davis.

Sayre shot a sizzling 59.6% from the field in a 73-53 victory over Western Hills.  Sayre was three  of eight from the three point line and held a 48-18 advantage on points in the paint.  The Spartans connected on 14 of 18 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 18 Western Hills turnovers.  Western Hills shot 38.8% from the field including six of 20  from beyond the arc.  The Wolverines connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored nine points off 17 Sayre turnovers.

Ray Brewer led Sayre with 32 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Brewer was 12 of 18 from the field and eight of nine free throws.  6-0 Jr. Justin Sanders added 16 points and six assists.  Quinn Pergande chipped in with 10 points.  Ben Davis recorded eight points and six rebounds.

Kevin Booth led Western hills with 12 points and seven rebounds.  Will Davis added 11 points and six rebounds. 6-0 Jr. Kory Waller chipped in with 10 points.  5-10 Sr. Jordan White and ZhaVaughn Reed added nine and eight points respectively.
