Scott County  vs.  Pendleton County (Girls)

Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Tereka Guyn, 5-8 Fr. Bailey Hawkins, 6-0 Jr. Iman Guy, 5-7 Jr. Danielle DeFoor, and 5-8 Sr. Laura Szorenyi.  Pendleton County coach Scott Collins countered with 5-8 Sr. Ashten Wolfe, 5-6 So. McKayla Manor, 5-10 Jr. Taylor McClanahan, 5-6 Sr. Bradi Boden, and 5-5 Sr. Jennifer Dixon.

Scott County defeated Pendleton County by a score of 91-57.  Scott County shot 45.5% from the field including seven of 22 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 53 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 23 Pendleton County turnovers.  Pendleton County shot 35.2% from the field including six of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cats connected on 13 of 22 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored four points off 10 Scott County turnovers.

Danielle DeFoor led Scott County with 18 points including three three point baskets, nine rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  Laura Szorenyi also scored 18 points and pulled down eight rebounds, and dished out seven assists.  Tereka Guyn recorded 16 points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Bradi Boden led Pendleton County with 13 points including three three point baskets. So. Isabella Hall also scored 13 points.  McKayla Manor chipped in with 10 points.
