Mercer County coach Brian Britt started the following lineup: 6-2 Fr. Will Hager, 5-11 Jr. Russell Sims, 6-2 Sr. Jordan Duncan, 5-10 Sr. John Ingram, and 5-11 Sr. Blake Pennington.  West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-3 Jr. Tanner Richards, 6-2 Sr. Robby Irgang, 6-4 Sr. Chase Fain, 6-0 Jr. Will Henderson, and 6-3 Jr. Daulton Peters.

West Jessamine defeated Mercer County by a score of 77-57.  West Jessamine shot 53.6% from the field including one of seven from the three point line.  The Colts connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 35 points off 24 Mercer County turnovers.  Mercer County shot 31.3% from the field including six of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Titans connected on 21 of 25 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 18 West Jessamine turnovers.

Chase Fain led West Jessamine with 24 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, and three steals.  Daulton Peters added 12 points and six rebounds.  Robby Irgang and 6-2 Jr. Ian Kossick chipped in with 11 and 10 points respectively.

Russell Sims led Mercer County with 16 points including two three point baskets and eight rebounds.  John Ingram added 14 points, six assists, and three steals.
