Madison Southern coach Shane Buttry started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Tyler Abshear, 5-11 Sr. Mike Rothermel, 6-2 Sr. Spencer Stone, 5-10 Sr. Drew Taylor, and 5-10 So. Damien Harris. Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus countered with 6-4 Sr. Quan Taylor, 6-1 Sr. Daniel Parke, 6-3 Sr. Hunter Stocker, 6-1 Sr. Ken-Jah Bosley, and 6-1 Sr. Dominique Hawkins.
Madison Central defeated Madison Southern by a score of 80-40. Madison Central shot 48.3% from the field including 12 of 28 from the three point line. The Indians connected on 12 of 21 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 22 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 33.3% from the field including two of 14 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Madison Central turnovers.
Ken-Jah Bosley led Madison Central with 22 points including five three point baskets. Quan Taylor added 16 points and nine rebounds. Dominique Hawkins chipped in with 11 points. Daniel Parke recorded seven points and 10 assists.
Tyler Abshear led Madison Southern with 13 points. Mike Rothermel added eight points and three steals. Drew Taylor recorded seven points and seven rebounds.
