Shelby Valley coach Rodney Rowe started the following lineup: 5-7 So. Savannah Honaker, 5-6 Sr. Brianna Fraley, 5-7 Fr. Lakyn Mullins, 5-4 So. Taylor Rowe, and 5-5 Jr. Rachel Smith.  Corbin coach Jennifer Parsons countered with 5-6 Jr. Sarah Ashley, 5-6 Jr. Brooklyn Ashurst, 6-0 Sr. Holli Disney, 5-6 Jr. Miranda Wilson, and 5-7 Jr. Kayla Wilson.

Shelby Valley defeated Corbin by a score of 45-38.  Shelby Valley led 22-14 at halftime but Corbin rallied to trail 39-38 with less than two minutes remaining in the game but Shelby Valley finished the game on a 6-0 run.  Shelby Valley shot 37.1% from the field including one of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Kats connected on 18 of 24 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 18 Corbin turnovers.  Corbin shot 30% from the field including one of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Redhounds connected on seven of nine free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored eight points off 15 Shelby Valley turnovers.

Lakyn Mullins led Shelby Valley with 15 points and nine rebounds.  Brianna Fraley also scored 15 points.

Sarah Ashley led Corbin with 10 points and eight rebounds.  Kayla Wilson and Miranda Wilson added eight and six points respectively.
