Anderson County coach Tony Kays started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Eriel McKee, 5-8 Jr. Alex Avritt, 6-0 Sr. Kali Whiteside, 5-3 Jr. Destiny Stewart, and 6-0 Jr. Makenzie Cann. Marion County coach Trent Milby countered with 6-1 Sr. Kyvin Goodin-Rogers, 5-9 Sr. Logan Powell, 6-0 Jr. Alexus Calhoun, 5-7 Sr. Patrice Tonge, and 5-11 Sr. Makayla Epps.
Marion County outscored Anderson County 27-8 in the third quarter on their way to a 72-49 victory. Marion County shot 51% from the field including five of 13 from the three point line. The Lady Knights connected on 15 of 27 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Anderson County turnovers. Anderson County shot 33.9% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc. The Lady Bearcats connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored eight points off eight Marion County turnovers.
Makayla Epps led Marion County with 28 points, seven assists, and three steals. Logan Powell added 11 points and nine rebounds.
Makenzie Cann led Anderson County with 18 points including three three point baskets and 12 rebounds. 5-4 So. Corrin Robinson added seven points. Kali Whiteside added six points and eight rebounds. Eriel McKee pulled down nine rebounds.
